    1. I'm letting Hammr and Acid Witch albums serve as the playlist this time. You can jam the full albums. https://goo.gl/EFCvf9 https://goo.gl/cL6oeq

  2. IMO but, as a non musician, I get a feel for an album through lyrics. I learned over time that lyrics that don't craft a story or that wallow on feelings really take away from the music. You can have banging drums, sick riffs all you want, but if the lyrics are unrelated to the main concept or singer's forcing me to be his/her therapist, it's just really a waste. There are bands that don't even have a whole lot of lyrics in their songs, but their word play conveys something that gives you chills then it's done right. I'm listening to Meth Drinker rn, they don't have many lyrics except for few words put together like ramblings of a psycho who went off his meds. They're making me feel like I'm face to face with a murderous mental hospital escapee and that's how I know they did their job.

    1. I can get by with lyrics not being as intense as the music, partially because I don't always get to consume the music well enough anymore to really dial in the message in the lyrics or they just don't make sense (to me). But I definitely see and agree with where you are coming from.
